I did too. I call bullshit, though. I'm sure it has to be an April Fools Joke. No way in hell. No way.

If this is an April Fool's joke, Kansas will cry:

POSTED AT 12:01AM!? The earliest time they could get away with posting this? Very peculiar.

And visit topeka.com. It's not a redirect to Google.

Anyone who didn't instantly know it was an April fools joke is a fucktard. I always look forward to Google's April Fool's Day joke.

Them's strong words, hurstshifter. Specially cuz I thought the blog sounded pretty convincing

Oh well. I also thought that the police were at my mother's door last year, investigating some "mysterious crimes" committed near a school I attended years earlier, and thought I was a suspect. Serves me right, I suppose. :|

Lol, sorry I didn't mean to sound so harsh. I guess I just prepare myself for April fools jokes well in advance so I'm always expecting them and Google tends to have some pretty funny ones. I think it was either last year or the year before where they did Google Time Machine or something like that where you could supposedly send messages that will arrive several days before you send them, haha.

edit: On a side note about April fools jokes, here is a blog post by the lead security analyst at my company. This one ALMOST fooled me

I though it might be for real for a minute or two, until I got farther down in Google's post about it (this is going to be a difficult transition, but it's worth it) lol. The document that they got the mayor of Topeka to sign is pretty badass though.

I was googling something at like 2 in the morning this morning, and I saw topeka, and the first thing I thought was "Fucking April 1st..."

then I decided to see where the image took me, after that I regretted it
