Haha, that looks pretty awesome.
They actually have the McDonald's logo on the DS, that was cool.
Thanks for the video

Okay, I just can't help it...
Is it that complicated? Really? And even if it were, is shaking your stylus around virtual fries really going to do anything to help with that? I worked at a Wendy's for about a year, and the only merit I can see this game having is remembering all of the condiments/etc. go on particular sandwiches. And at that it's a very minor step above flashcards.
But I don't want to be a complete downer about it, I think it's awesome that video games are being used for training purposes, and I think that's the real value here. And they claim to have been getting good results, so there must be something to it. I hope more companies start doing this - preferably where it's more applicable. Secondly, it would make more sense for this game to be free to the public, that way you have people learning before they apply (and get cynical about the work as I clearly am). You can even hire based on high scores! I doubt there are many trade secrets in this game, so I can't imagine what's stopping them from doing this.
But if I could return to my cynicism briefly to end this mini-rant.. if you are working at McDonald's for however many hours a day, and then going home and playing your McDonald's work simulator.. you have pretty much given up on life.

Haha, that's pretty damned funny. Even more so by the cheap hardware it's on...
Couldn't they develop it for like, the new HP touche, the Ipad, or something that's got MULTITOUCH capabilities? ;p
Then again, if you're job's at the big D, then I suppose you probably can't afford it. =/
But yeah, I agree here:
I think it's awesome that video games are being used for training purposes
but am a little disheartened that this is the extent of the training. ;p
