Have any of you guys heard of Battle Kid? It's a homebrew NES title that was released in January of this year. The game reminds me quite a bit of Mega Man, but it's RIDICULOUSLY difficult - to the point that it's just hilarious. (Especially if you're drunk)
I've got my NES setup in my cube at work, and a co-worker and I just beat the first level. It took us a combined total of 135 lives, but we did it god damnit!

Whoa, completely reminds me of I Wanna Be The Guy... Looks like the same thing almost, just on the NES

Yeah, this game actually looks really awesome. Very polished looking gameplay. The screen scrolling stuff reminded me a lot of Metroid.
