One day I was browsing around looking for some ps1 roms and i found this page. It turns out to be a list of console SDK downloads. I dont know how stable or how well documented they are but I think it is something to take a look at.

and on a side note, I forget completely about the sega pocket edition or what ever it is... I used to have one, and I played sonic on it all day long... the only downside was the battery life, it was crap and it took like 6 AAs

I have golden axe 2 for genesis, that game is beast. My brother and I used to sit and play that for hours, we need to break that shit out this summer!
