I think these forums would benefit immensely from some syntax highlighting. Looking at all that green on white makes my eyes want to bleed. It's better than having no code system at all, but if possible, please look into this.

I think this has been suggested before not sure, 100% agree though.

Well if it was requested before, sorry for pulling a necro and reviving the request.

This deserves a necro in any case. It shouldn't be too hard to find a C++ scheme somewhere? It would certainly make posted code a thousand times easier to debug (this is the main reason I overlook people's posts that have entire class definitions in code tags).

Syntax highlighting would be helpful

Well to speed things along, here's what wiki uses for syntax highlighting. It actually looks pretty legit to be honest:

I looked at coderay, and it's really good. But I don't know how well it integrates with phpbb.

I did some googling, and it only has native highlighting for php.

It was the only one I could find. I'll do some preliminary testing on my phpbb localhost setup if Gyro gives the go code on giving this a shot.
