Documentation in Notepad.exe

No matter what the task at hand, I often find myself drawing up various plans in Notepad. No it is not my favorite text editor (Notepad++), but it is a handy tool that is always right there when I need it (Win+R->"no"->Down Arrow->Enter).

Exhibit A:
Database Layout.txt

The humble beginnings of the document outlining my current work-in-progress. I am designing a customer management system for my dad, who runs an auto repair shop.

Out of curiosity, how many others are there who cannot resist the sheer simplicity of Notepad for mundane text-related tasks in need of finishing A.S.A.P.?

I thought it was a disgrace to all humanity when anyone even remotely thought of using a Microsoft product.

[/sarcasm]
Oddly enough, I prefer plain pencil and paper. A physical "notepad" if you will. It allows for easier creativity and diagramming.

I can never find paper or pen when I'm at home. When I'm at school I always have a very neat desk and a notebook at hand though.
