Your Dev playlist?
What's in your Dev playlist?
My Dev playlist consists of Impending Doom, The Megaman 3 OST, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Scatman John, Society's Plague, music a friend and I wrote, Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Cross OST), and the Yoshida Brothers.

Re: Your Dev playlist?
What I find funny for my playlist, is it consists mostly of music I never listen to, unless I'm programming. Like, I NEVER listen to any type of metal, I'm more of a soft rock type of guy, but my dev playlist is mostly death metal stuff XD. I just listen to anything upbeat really...

Re: Your Dev playlist?
Yeah... I used to do the same. But I have a lot of my friends music in my iTunes library. One day I was programming, and then after a few hours, I stopped and realized I had been listening to death metal for the past hour hahahaWSPSNIPER wrote:

Re: Your Dev playlist?
Basically, anything by Nobuo Uematsu or Yoko Shimomura. Lots of final fantasy, kingdom hearts, lost odyssey, etc. Several other video game soundtracks and movie soundtracks as well (I like a lot of video game and movie music, and I find it is easier to keep a flow going since the soundtracks usually have a certain continuity to them). On occasion I'll listen to some other stuff while deving, but I don't usually find it's good fit (not for me anyway). Often times I just need to put on my noise cancelling headphones and escape from the world - silence does that just fine and let's me focus on my thoughts with greater clarity.

Re: Your Dev playlist?
I know what you mean, haha. I usually just throw pandora on my classic rock station, but it always ends up on some 50's blues song. Every once in a while I start listening to the background noise and realize I'm listening to something completely ridiculous.XianForce wrote:Yeah... I used to do the same.
