Lately I haven't said anything about my current projects, honestly because there is nothing impressive to show until I get art done, which I need a scanner/tablet for. But the truth is I have been working pretty hard on my first real project. I hope to be selling this game when it's all complete and what not. You can follow the link at the end of the post to the development blog!

By the way as a for warning, the game is a lot less cheesy than the following makes it sound. In all honesty, yes the storyline is a bit childish at first. However, the game is based around a grungy world including the art and the grit that's just in the storyline. When you read this it will seem like a happy children's game but it really isn't a game that young children should be playing for multiple reasons, I designed most of the puzzles to be for a more teenager to adult range as well.

EDIT:
Joshua wrote:Octopia is a hard puzzle game that will be based around a grungy, industrial world. I have made sure that especially the characters in the black market areas of the kingdom have the perfect amount of nit and grit that all of my stories deserve. The story is about an octopus who gets his girlfriend taken from him, he has to fight, kill and battle through many puzzles to get her back and to wash the new found blood off of his fathers tentacles.
Let me know what you guys think, I'll be posting screen shots of the level editor which is under construction, when I have at LEAST place holder graphics.

*Yea I edited it because it made the game sound not like it really is... This ones a quote from my notebook about my original vision for the game so hopefully it will sound a bit less..."Pussy" if you will*

It sounds kinda cheesy, and the storyline is childish. Definitely something I would buy for my kids.

Haha yea like I said it sounds that way, but hopefully people will actually look at it when I release a bit of visuals and what not... After reading that, and then reading what I have down on paper as the storyline, I'm going to go up and edit it real fast.

EDIT: You guys should read the newer one... It's better.
