I thought this was hilarious, not to belittle the med student (seriously though, lol) but the fact that 75 papers cited the article .... it just goes to show you how uninformed about math most people are. Perhaps as a cs/math dual major I have a bias

I know its from 2007 but I didn't see anything previously linking the article on the forums, and, I just found it :)

Personally I think it is pretty baller that someone was able to come up with the basic idea of integration on their own (if they truly did).

to top it all off, Dr. Tai decided to name this “Tai’s Model”


could you imagine calling integration something like "and now we take the Tai of the curve ..." :roll:
