OpenArt redevelopment

This week I've been working on redeveloping OpenArt with a small custom framework to make it cleaner and easier for me to update and maintain the site.
It's also undergoing a few changes, such as:
- Renaming from "OpenArt" to "OpenAssets": This way, it's not specific to just art, and will include free fonts as well.
- Move from being a subdomain of Moosader.com to a subdomain of VGCreators.com
- Cleaner layout, more concise, nicer colors
- Request Asset board has been moved to a forum on forum.moosader.com, and I'm looking into the PhpBB API to set up some basic thread templates
- Contribution form - no emailing me, just uploading your asset and some basic details, which go into a "pending" area on the site for me to check out and write off on.
Additionally, I'd like to know if anyone has suggestions for the site itself, and I'd also like to know what you guys suggest for defending the contribution upload page from bots and malicious stuff.

To keep bots out of my registration forms, contact forms etc. I usually just add a checkbox called "I'm a bot". Should be pretty easy to understand what it means
But I do agree with McGee, that is pretty awesome

One thing I'll do is add a hidden input field. If the bot fills it out, then I reject the form. Otherwise, I figure I'll have some basic questions like "what color is the sky" or something dumb.

I like this idea very much of an open source site for game assets.
What I think would be a good addition to the art assets is a technical spec of tile and sprite sizes and perhaps even sheet size, perhaps even a preview of how the sheets look in use, it would be especially cool to see character animations.
It would also be nice to browse through the page showing groups of assets that belong together/were made for the same game and being able to see a preview of the assets used together.
This requires a lot of work I suppose but would make it all the better. Knowing what kind of games the assets could be used for would also be cool.

Sweet! I'm exited :D. Is it possible to upload 3D art, or will it be in the future? I've got a lot of 3D assets lying around that I made just for practice reasons, a few are textured too. My friend would also be interested in posting his on there even though he's not a member of either of these forums.

On my blog it was suggested that I just utilize
http://opengameart.org rather than making my own site for game art, though I don't really like that site's layout. Like Pritam said, I'd like to have stuff display sort of in a "set", all similar-looking art together, etc.
(Plus, the title says "Free, legal art for open source game projects". I don't want any restrictions on the art posted to my page, except possibly having to give credit to author.
