Here's a screenshot of what my desktop looks like on an average ordinary day. Please, at least attempt not to barf.
Yeah, I've got my C/++ compiler open because I was working on Null (the DC platformer I'm making over at DC Dev Discussion). I also have my perling stuff open and music out. I also even have several Mozillas, MSNs, and AIMs open... Notice the overflowing icons on my desktop. I'm constantly having to set my resolution higher so I can see them.
I refuse to sort them out. :D
Oh, and my awesome MegaMan Legends (Rockman Dash) desktop theme...

-Sees the Windows XP GUI and gets queesy. Shifts eyes to see ie6setup and firefox1.0install on your desktop and begins to cough. Looks at the Visual C++ window open and spews vomit everywhere.- zOMG SO MANY THINGS WRONG!!!!!!!!!1111oneone -looks up one more time to see gimp on your computer and barfs up stomach.- Erm... -puts it back in- Look at all that anti-virus and anti-adware/spyware software... Tsk, tsk.... I don't need any of it :D. -strokes his linux box- Plus, got my compiler built in :D :D :D GCC works fine for me. I got my Gnome pimped out too (and since there is no registry editing to do that it is safe and works nice :D). I'll take me a screen...
Screen 1 Shows my pimped Gnome theme (custom windows, fonts, icons, login screen (not visible :P) and background) :D. I am running yum in the terminal back there. Viewing my home directory to the left. Using kate to the right (I know it is HTML, I am working on a layout for my CMS :D). I am also booting up gimp.
On to
Screenshot 2. It is kinda obvious here what I am doing... I am running gimp in its natural environment :D.
And last of all
Screen 3. Just sporting off the whole desktop and my terminal.
That's pretty much it :D

No hating on VC++. I think that everybody just despises it because it's "Microsoft". Well guess what, it's the best damn compiler/environment (in DC Devving it isn't the compiler, it's just the environment I work in).
The spy/adware crap. Yeah, true. I shouldn't need it, but back when I used to settle for god damn IE I really used it alot...
But hey, you've pwnt me... That's a damn sexy OS.

The OS is actually only text. What makes it purty is X Desktop Environment (which lets me put different types of desktop managers on my computer). Gnome is what is so damn sexy :D. KDE (another desktop manager) is OK but really buggy on FC3.
I also use other distros like Damn Small Linux (DSL), Debian, Mandrake, Redhat (Almost exactly like Fedora Core), SLAX, PCLinuxOS, GameLinux, Slackware, Knoppix, PHP Linux, Berry Linux, and lastly, Linux Kernel :D. As you can see I love Linux. Mainly because I like to have totall control of my OS. I have to admit that there are some strong points about Windows (like hardware support veriety) and I am forced to use it sometimes (like for projects.. MSoffice though I could use openoffice.org just as good "Times New Roman" isn't a font on Linux
).

Windows XP Professional. I'm only into music composition and animation, so I don't see why I'd need anything else.

Mac is kickass when it comes to audio stuff. As far as graphics and the lot, windows wins.

It is an online community built around online unliscensed anime streams. I am a mod there (I watch the IRC channel). It's pretty cool. You can view the streams for free if you have winamp. New anime comes out every 2 or 3 months. Everyone there is pretty cool too.
