VMU Capabilities

Can somebody explain what the VMU is capable of?

I need this information, along with algebra, so that I can be a more well-rounded person.

Well, the VMU is quite a complex memory card. Packing a 32x48 pixel display, this badboy can do things that other memory cards couuldn't dream of.

First of all, it's a memory card. Save and store data.

Next, it's a watch/calendar, storing the time/date.

It can display secret information or stats during gameplay. Imagine playing a card game (like sonic shuffle), where your VMU is the cards that are in your hand. It's a much better experience.

The VMU can save VMU minigames. These are really fun. Do things from taking your chaos on walks to exploring mazes and creating grafiti.

Then, the VMUs have VMU to VMU connectability. If your friend has a chao game, you can link up and fight. If your friend has a file you want, you aren't restricted to transfering with it in the controller on your dreamcast. You just hook the two VMUs up and let 'er rip.

Trust me, these bad boys are well worth the $4 from Rhino games. :D

Actually, at EB Games in the mall, new ones only cost $2, and used controllers only cost 3$.

That adds up to only $5.45 with tax for a controller and new VMU.

Silent Scope uses VMU to show what your crossheir shows. Believe it or now, it comes in handy when doing quick shots and you don't want to be zoomed in on the screen. Without it, believe me, the presiden't daughter would have died on my file. LOL
