I know there's probably been another topic like this, but I just wanted to know your favorite system. Base your choice on the games available for the system, the hardware specs, and other junk.

I know most of you will, but please, PLEASE do not choose the Dreamcast.
I already know you love it, and I want to know what ELSE you love.

Oops! All my choices didn"t come up. Just pretend that there's an, "Other" option. :mrgreen:

PS2 PWNS! None of those other ones can play DVD's. PS2 also has some of the best games for it (Like the .hack series which was interesting and others I can't name off the top of my head.). It also runs linux =}

Dreamcast!!!!1111oneone

On account of the fact that I respect that Wutai has mentioned DC not being a choice and gave a valid reason, I voted my next favorite.

It was a close call. I desperately wanted to say Saturn or SNES. I chose what I had to and I have no regrets. I have to stick with my roots, what I was born loving. I stuck with my childhood and the beginning of gaming as we know it. Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for the NES!

After Atari failed, the end of gaming seemed eminent. One company soley reestablished gaming from the ruins that Atari left it in. Not only did they bring gaming back, but for awhile there (as in the end of the N64 era) gaming really kicked ass.

The NES will always have my respect...

Fred, I voted for Xbox.
It has tons of great games that others don't have, (Halo, Fable, Unreal Championship) plus tons of PC ports that the PS2 couldn't handle.
And the hardware is powerful. Also, it CAN play DVDs if you get a remote.
Voting for Xbox doesn't mean I don't like the other systems. I have almost all of them.

JSL, if your closet computer can handle Half-Life 2, then an Apple computer could handle DOOM 95--NO!

My computer was only a thousand or two and those games worked just fine.

BTW Wutai, you haven't even played Unreal have you?

Fred, not everybody has a thousand or two dollars to spend on a PC.

Also, yes, I have played Unreal. I played Unreal Championship at JS Lemmings house during a New Year's party.
