Is probably the best album on the planet. They have completely redefined their style and have taken it all to the next level--guitar, synths, vocals, and style. It also has just an ever-so-slight touch of indie/trendy going on. I have no doubt that this album is going to make them famous... GO CHECK IT OUT IF YOU HAVE ANY SELF RESPECT, WHATSOEVER!
Oh, they are gods of the "dark, electronic rock" genre, for those of you who don't already know who they are. We use quite a bit of their music in our later chapters of AiGD.

I got mine on last Friday! I have to agree with you that this is already, easily, the best album of the year. The beast that Julien-k is really stepped up their game and reinvented themselves. I spoke to Ryan on Facebook and he mentioned that he wasn't interested in top charts or any of the 'glam' - he really wanted to just have fun and write music. Turns out though, they've been sitting at #2 on the iTunes Electronic album charts since their release!

I remember a time when Googling Julien-K would put our dev videos on the front page. I remember a time when Youtubing "System De Sexe" brought Chapter 13 up before the actual live performance. I would like to believe that we have done more good for Julien-K than bad. I have also personally met the boys, and I don't see them being too upset.
I care more about the fact that copyrighted music ruins the opportunity for Youtube partnership, which we are seriously considering these days.
