who here has the great and mighty gmail? or has even heard of it? it is free email grought to you by google. (they also may come out with a cool os http://www.kottke.org/04/04/google-operating-system) but it is amazing! the text is arranged in a conversation format and is *almost* adless! (it does have little sublimial ads in the left of the screen) it is a freakin 1000mb of free storage space! who will ever need to delete again? currently it is invite only but they are tossing out the invites like crazy so it isn't hard to get one.

Sounds like Google is headed in the right direction. Its to bad the only detailed info we have on this is from some random person guessing what the future will bring them. Still koo thought.

well yes it is about what some guy thinks of the future but god this guy is crazy! if google took up what this person is suggesting, they would surpass microsoft in a heartbeat. imagine. centralized servers streaming data to the places that need it such as cell phones and pocket pc's imagine! online storage space that can be bought for next to nothing! it can all be so great! who needs a library when google can rebuild the libraries of the world into a central database searchable by author, topic, title, anything! i know that online books kinda suck but still! reasearch! school work!! it would be kinda like the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. has anyone noticed the local search on google? it works with everything! i type in skate center and it tells me all the centers within 20 miles! beautifull! google pwns microsoft anyday!

You know what, I actually wouldn't mind Google becoming the next leading -- errrmm... everything.

M$ pisses me off. Google ownz.

It'd be cool if we saw Google's gaming console. I'm sure it can't be that farfetch'd of an idea. Think about how M$ started off.

Imagine:

The Google GyroSpherical Polygon (featuring an impressive 1234^123 bit graphic hardware and new ABCDEFG-Rom capabilites that store up to a kajillion giga/trilabytes).

w00t!
