Goodbye to my life.

Post by Falco Girgis »

Seriously, I made out my schedule today, and I've concluded that I'll no longer be needing a life. After all, there's no way in hell I'll have enough time. So far, I'll be taking this next year:
My Schedule wrote:1) AP Chemistry
2) AP Java Programming
3) AP US History
4) Precalculus
5) Honors English 11
6) SuperComputing (Advanced C programming)
In case you didn't realize "AP" aka "Advanced Placement" classes are college level classes. Upon completion you can earn college credit.

Basically, I have the hardest schedule possible. I didn't want to pass down any advanced classes (especially AP, I'm not going to have enough money to take all that garbage in college). So yes, I won't have enough time for anything anymore.

My History teacher said something interesting:
Okay, Falco. You think you can handle AP? I'm not so sure. Imagine my class, but a kajillion times harder. You'll have to go home and read like 20 pages every night and write essays every day. You have to promise me that if I sign giving you permission for AP, you will make me proud. I don't want your teacher coming to me and saying "What were you thinking when you put him in AP US History!?!"

So yes, *emo music plays in background*. Goodbye.

I seem to recall you saying java sucked gyrovorbis...hehe.

Oh well...join the people without a life. Band...will do that to a person. EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK (besides Sunday) IS BAND!!! AAAARGH!!! I HAD TO GET UP AT FREAKING 3 IN THE MORNING LAST SATURDAY TO GO TO A COMPETITION WE DIDN'T EVEN DO THAT WELL IN!!!

It's like some kind of sick cult...we even have our own drumline church. I swear the drumline "communion" (which we also have) is going to end up laced with arsenic...or some sort of ammonia.

So welcome. I hope you enjoy not having a life. :spin:
want a cookie?

i love to write. if you love to read, PM me. :)

Java does suck. It sucks major balls.

Even though a language sucks major balls, I'm still going to take it. It'd be stupid for me not to.

1) A job where you are a programmer, ANY programming class looks good.

2) AP means college credit which means less time and money to spend at college.

3) AP Java means more Mrs. Rountree. I don't know what I'd do without her. She's my second mom.

4) Another programming class. You see how hard my classes are? I do all of my homework every day in Mrs. Rountree's C++ class. Yeah, bad habit, I know...

AP History is so crappy. Seriously. It's assloads of work. AP Physics is better ;)

AP Chem isn't that bad.

AP Java...c'mon, it's Rountree.

Precal is fairly easy. Honors English 11...not too bad...Supercomputing--once again, it's rountree.

My schedule--gonna be hella easy.

Honors English 12
Supercomputing
AP Java
AP English
AP Biology
Scholars Bowl

still need two classes...

I won't have to worry about that shit for another 3 or 4 years, in which time I "grow out of my diapers." Damn it rox being young. You go off to college, you old geezers, I'll be sitting at home screwing around for summer vacation while you are taking calculus C exams or some other random college class. W00t! :spin:

But my time will eventually come…NOOO! :(

What in the hell did you just say?

I just read your post and didn't understand any of it, you non-grammatically correct, incorrectly punctuating, over emoticon using douche bag.

It sucks so bad at my school.

Here was my plan:

adv. English III
Pre-CalK
US Historie
Comp technology-basic programming - "This is the only technacle class in my school, and I'm only taking it to slack off and blow some c++ skillz in the teacher's face.... you know, make'm cry."
Physics - "DANG IT, i wanted to take AP Physics, but they said twas only for seniors. So I'm like.. well i guess i gotta take normal physics. And then the guy goes: uhhh, you probably won't get in cause theres a bunch of seniors tring to get in. GRRRR. know I have to take some retard class."
Lattin II

CHS blows big cheese flanks.

Ouch! Dude, you really need to be stalking up on them AP classes!

Here's my planned next year schedule

AP English
AP Physics
AP US Government
Cullinary (learn how to cook? I'll already have all my credits and there's nothing else to take...)
AP Calculus (I'll take this at the university of Alabama. My high school allows seniors with driver's licenses to take the class at the university. Hah, more credits. w00t.)

The only APs I could of taken were AP Euro, AP US History, and AP Biology. BUt I HATE history and biology is kinda useless compared to physics. CHS just doesn't have the classes for people into technology.

We've established that Java sucks major balls, but whether it does or does not, any programming job you're looking into will if not require the Java credit, see it as an important advantage.

Not to mention--you wanna pay thousands of dollars to get the Java credit in College when it was free in High School? Didn't think so. Also, I'll have my second mom in that class...

Umm... I'm sure any technological job would view it as a large plus if you had Java experience. As a matter of fact one of the requirements for a programmer at Capcom is to be fluent in multiple languages.
