Nice.
I got Donkey Kong Country for GBA about 3 hours ago and I've already beaten the game. I'm working on getting all of the extras and completely finishing it up tonight. I also hope to completely own MegaMan Legends 2 with all extras tonight then hopefully have time to beat Shenmue II.
After that I think I'll play Poke'mon trying to earn my last glass items and find Latios until I just fall asleep.
For the rest of the week I'd like to do some hardcore programming on Null and/or the level editor.

For some reason, my school district starts spring break 2 weeks before most schools do, so this is my first week back.
Hey GV, how's NULL coming along? Just out of curiousity.

Good, I'm working on the level editor as we speak so that I can get it out and start having fellow members create their own levels...

Your parents buy you stuff? It takes me six months to save up for a new game on my salary.

My parents pay me $15 an A on my report card and that's it. I'm not complaining though, that's lots more than lots of parents will pay their children.
I just bought Donkey kong Country (GBA) and have $10 left over from this term's A money.

I mow lawns during the summer ($10 a lawn), so I have plenty of money in the winter and fall.

I've been meaning to try that, but how does it work?
Do you just go house to house with your lawnmower asking if they need it?
Do you put up signs around your neighborhood?
Dude, I live in Alabama. That's like as far south as you get. If you mow the lawn twice a week here that's pushing it. The grass grows so fast. You could really make a profit by doing that kind of stuff here.

Yeah, how do you mow other peep's lawns? I'd be like, secretly mowing thier lawn, then when I finish I'd go to thier door and say something like "Thanks for calling me to come mow your yard, I haven't had many customers lately." and they'd be like "O you poor foo." and I'd say "now that will be 25 bucks, like we agreed."

$15 bucks an A? Do you get alot of A's? Let's see, if you got all A's for 6 classes that would be.... ...$90!!!
AAAHHHHH!!!!
I've never made anything lower than an A on my report card, but never have I gotten even a PENNY from my parents.

You can put up signs around your neightborhood, or you can go door to door advertising (what my cousin does). I think it seems pretty stupid to go up to some random person's door and say "Hi, your lawnmowing sucks ass, may I do better?". That'll get a foot crammed up your ass.
For the most part, just put up signs or leave an ad on someone's doorstep. It'll bring in a good amount of customers.
As for how fast the grass grows, Kansas City
REALLY has some fast growing grass during the summer. One way to get business is to spread fertelizer on somebody's lawn while they're on vacation or just gone somewhere. Then when they get back, offer to mow their lawn, and then it'll grow back really fast in a few days, and you can mow their lawn again and get more money. Trust me, if it works in Kansas, it'll work really well in Alabama.
