Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PS2)

Okay, my cousin rented this and brought it over. (I wouldn't be allowed to rent it.) This review is only based on the first few missions, so it may get better or worse.
Storyline
The plot isn't as deep as something you'd find in a Final Fantasy, but for such an action based game, it's pretty good. CJ (the main character) moved away from where he was raised to get away from gang life. After his mother is killed, CJ returns home where he is re-united with his friends, and is framed for murder. The story reminds me alot of a movie.
Storyline 7/10
Gameplay
Gameplay... ...where to begin?
I've played all of the other GTA games for PS2 and this is by FAR the best.
Oddly enough, San Andreas is very much like an RPG.
You can level up skills such as max stamina, muscle, BMX skill, and lung capacity. The many vehicles are great. They range from a tractor to a BMX bike, and you can even hi-jack a train. There are so many other things that I don't have time to mention.
Gameplay 10/10 ( 3000/10 )
Graphics
Many people have been complaining about the graphics of this game, but I think they are great. Of course they are a tiny bit blocky because of the PS2's limitations. Small slowdowns happen every few minutes, but don't disrupt gameplay. Small effects add a nice touch to the game. When you are in a hot and sunny place, the screen will slightly blur, and the environment will have an orange tint. Also, when you start going really fast in a car the surrounding environment will be all blurry.
If you are dissapointed by the game's graphics, you should just wait until the Xbox and PC releases.
Graphics 7/10
Sound
When I started walking down the street, I expected to be hearing the same NPC chatter over and over again. Amazingly enough, I never heard the same NPC sound effect more than once. All of the weapons sound as they should, as do all the vehicles.
As for the music, I really didn't care for it (luckily it only plays in vehicles), but if rap is your thing, then you'll enjoy it. Be prepared for massive F-word spewage.
Sound 7/10
Overall
This is a great game - probably the best for the PS2 last year.
I recommend you buy it... ...NOW!!!
If you are like me and your parents won't let you get it, just get your 17 year-old cousin with his driver's license to buy it for you.
Overall 10/10
