Official Harry Potter Topic!

Well, I've gone through and started to beat every video game that I'd loved from my childhood (MegaMans, Poke'mons, etc.), so I thought I may as well go through and read my favorite books.

I guess this is just a nastalgic time in my life, because I'm desperately missing the days of my childhood (particularly 4th and 5th grade when my friends and I would be on the playground playing Poke'mon Blue/Red/Yellow.)

I convinced my mom to buy me Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and the Chamber of Secrets yesterday. She'll buy me all of them as I finish them.

So I started reading and I just finished chapter 1 of Sorcerer's Stone. This is the Harry Potter topic. Anybody else who, like me, hasn't read these great books since 6th grade is welcome to start reading the mofos now. We can all discuss them and all...

Oh, and the 6th book has been announced for release on July 16th. :)

I first read the Harry Potter series in 2nd grade. But, I still remember a bunch of it because I re-read all the books at least twice through out my 3rd grade year. Believe it or not, the book I remember the least is the 5th, because I only read it once while all the others I have skimmed over multiple times, or read straight though again.

But even after re-reading them in 3rd grade, my Harry Potter is getting rusty, and I'd be happy to read them again. Actually, that is exactly what I am doing starting today. I just started the 1st book on the way home from school on the bus and am at the part where Harry gets the letter.

People, if you decide to re-read themz bookz, post it and tell your progress.

Man, those books were awesome.

In fact, I wouldn't be here now if I had never read the Harry Potter Series.

I have all the books in my room. I'll start reading them now.

This is off-topic but I just though I'd mention it.
(July 16th is when GTA San Andreas comes out for the X-Box)

I've read them all once. I don't like reading books more than once.

I can, but not for a long while. I haven't read these babies since 6th grade, so that's been enough time for me to read again.
