What should I get for my Birthday?

I'm deciding between 3 things.
PS2
Gamecube
X Box
I'm probably going to get a PS2 but I would like to hear a few peoples opinions.
Here is some information.
My brother has an X Box with like 24 games but one is mine so if I get an
X Box I could play Shenmue II whenever I want and I wouldn't need to buy any games right away. + I could play DVD's and CD's
With a PS2 I could also play these DVD's and CD's but no customizable soundtracks, but I could get many games that aren't available on X Box.
I could also start collecting some of my favorite PS1 games that I used to own.
With a Gamecube I could hook up with My GBA and get Pokemon
Colosseum but I've already got most of the pokemon you get from it.
but sadly no DVD or CD playing for me. But, they are $50.00 cheaper.
Which one is the best choice?

I gotta say go with the PS2. It's the most prosperous previous-gen console.

You mean to tell me 24 games came OUT for the Xbox?

PS2. It has the best selection of games.

You are right it does, I can't find many good games for the other systems.

It depends on what your limitations are. If you're looking for a wide selection of games, go with PS2. If you're trying to find something that's cheap, get a Gamcube. I reccomend either one of those. I'd still go with PS2 though.

You'd be better off buying a video camera or somefin...

I'd go with PS2. To play lame-cube games, I'd wait for the revolution. As for the sex-box, you already have one; even if you must share it. Again, go for the PS2.

xbox DEFINATELY! it has the best games best graphics best every thing & it is sooooooooo fun!

Marx, I suggest you read Arce's post one more time.
xB_forlife, I already have an X box, but if my brother moves out I'll probably get one for christmas, and save up all of my allowance and extra lunch money from school and buy a Revolution, Saturn, NES, and N64 if I can find them.

My Brother just got an apartment and moved out.
So, does anyone think I should get an X Box instead?
