I really like the kaleidoscope entry. I've always loved games with abstract artwork and (sometimes) ambient music like that. Games like loco roco, patapon, katamari damacy. The artwork in those games is really unique and the music adds to the effect

Are there any books about SDL?
If there are books about SDL, what are their titles? I also have a question for Gyrovorbis or Marcel. What books did you guys use when you were learning SDL? i've never tried graphicsgale but a backup if you can't get graphicsgale could be gimp 2.0 its free and easy to use, its what i use
