Favorite Sports

Even though I know that most of you are probably geeks that are 70 pounds or more overweight, I like to think that you might have some physical ability.

What is everyone's favorite sport?
Please don't give a one word response; at least tell why you like it.

My favorite is either soccer or roller-blading.
Roller-blading is more for when I have people to skate with and fun places to go, but I can practice soccer alone and still have fun.

I also like basketball and riding my bike, but not nearly as much as the first two.

BTW, I'm signing up for soccer later today, and tryouts start tommorrow and end the 4th of September.

I take offence to that. Sure, I'm a computer geek but that doesn't mean I'm overweight. 148 LB at 5'10" isn't even CLOSE to overweight. Not sure about others, but I've seen pictures of GyroVorbis and he isn't overweight either.

Anyway, I am not much of a sports fan but I play ice hockey in the winter with friends. There is a creek that freezes so we just go over there and mess around all day.

Years ago I was into BMX. Not sure why I ever stopped..

yeah i don't agree with the automatically assuming we are overweight....bad form!!!

i love hockey. even my family goes to every home game. (huntsville has a team) i would have tryed out for Bob Jones High School but they didn't have a team and it doesn't look like they will this year either. umm.... i guess i love it because you can beath the crud out of other players and still win.

I used to play Baseball and Basketball..now I play airsoft (my gun is the UTG M87LA from shortyusa.com)

I like baseball, martial arts, and fighting. I also liked doing track.

Believe it or not, I decided to go out for football this year. Not that I wanted to, but I figured that I'd give it a shot, since I'll probably regret it if I didn't.

Anyway, football is a hard-ass sport. I've never realized it up until now. At my school, it's Hell on a field. My ass hurts so bad. I never realized how much of a headacche you get from wearing those godddam helmets either.

p.s. Airsoft kicks ass... and penguins own.

I'm 16, 5'10-11 and I weigh 135 lbs. I'm also offended by that. That was just plain uncalled for.

I don't like traditional team sports. They suck dick. Majorly. I tried out for a soccer team once, but quit. I'd rather be the guy who doesn't play sports, but could still kick your ass any day.

My sport: adventuring.

1)soccer
2)basketball
3)I kinda like scuba diving it sounds cool.
4)kickball or whatever you call it.

I play soccer. Its like an extreme sport, with all the kicking, punching, and all that shooting. Holy Crap I'm lucky to survive such a sport.

Dang, what's your problem, sorry if I offended anybody, but I was just kidding.

I'm going out for soccer. Try-outs start Tuesday. The coach said that if you can run, then he can teach you how to play soccer, which is good because I can run purty fast. I ran half a mile in just under three minutes, and I can run about fifteen miles an hour for short distances.

Also, I'm glad to see you finally started posting Teh Phantom!

Football a'int so bad now. It's goin' pretty well.

Anyway, not all team sprots suck ass. Take Rugby for instance. Tougher, and not nearly as complicated as football.

Yet, your ears will get torn off...
