NEWS: I might be getting a DC soon, for real. My parents got me an EB games $50 certificate (got an A+ on my freaking algebra test).

As for making good use of peripherals, DC is one of the few systems that actually tried to be creative. The sad thing is, that's the reason it failed in marketing.

No, Dreamcast failed because Sega took shit from Sony.

Look at Playstation 2, DC pwnt it in every possible way. How many god damn Sony commercials have you seen? A kajillion. How many DC commercials have you seen? One? Two? None? Sega had shitty marketting.

True, but it ties into what I said, about them making more and more features to add on (which isn't a bad thing), and not spending enough money on TV advertisement.
