You keep your PC connected through broadband, smartass. Just connect your DC to its modem through the phone line.
Then you go through some long process of configuring your windows network. You'd better hurry too, because I'm spending every waking second on PSO.

Here she is. And good luck, I'll see you online if you're lucky.

Jesus, it's 11:00 PM. Well, this time I actually did my homework first thing. I promised myself that I wouldn't go through the shit like last night. It was midnight and I hadn't even started.
Anyway, I'm getting more and more hooked. I can't believe this. Just when you think you've played a Dreamcast... Until you're online with PSO on you Dreamcast, bitches, you HAVEN'T played Dreamcast.
Wow... The surprises and things the Dreamcast has to offer never ends.
Anyway, I'm lvl 8 now. Also, I grouped with some other people and made it all the way to Cave 3.
EDIT - Mar: I noticed you couldn't decide whether you wanted bold or italics. So I gave you both. Sorry, I couldn't resist editing for that :D

I'm at level 9 now and somebody was nice enough to give me a new mag. I beat the dragon fair and square on single player, offline quest. I also got pretty damn far in the caves.
Online I made it all the way to Mines with some really high levelers that didn't mind a n00b in their team.
During fall break (aka next week) I'll be playing PSO and devving all week long. I'm going to be such a damn high leveler.
Anyway, yeah, I have all of next week out of school for fall break. I can't wait.

Ugh, I'm so damn tired. I went to bed at midnight and got up at 4:00 to play PSO.
Anyway, I got PSO for PC the other day. I now have two characters online simultaneously (DC and PC).
Here are my thoughts:
The PC version is just straight up a nice port. The controls are kinda assy, but you'll get used to them.
Visuals are a pretty big difference. PSO is probably running at a higher resolution on PC and probably with a higher poly count. The only problem is that there is an obvious lack of anti-aliasing so that you get the nice "every line is now a jaggy" aka "Playstation 2 (Dreamcast Stand (R))" visuals.
It's not bad, but it is definately enough to conclude that even my PC running at full graphics doesn't look as good as PSO on Dreamcast. I'm still amazed how good it looks.
It looks so good that the GC version didn't change any graphics other than letting you see farther (because of more RAM) and some added special affects (which could've been in the DC version anyway). This certainly isn't a bad thing though, since PSO already looks better than most recent GC games anyway.
So yeah, I can play PSO on DC and PC now.

Okay, my first day of fall break. Even though I got less than 4 hours of sleep yesterday from playing PSO all night, I managed to stay up even later playing PSO all night last night.
But of course I still got like 10 hours of sleep.
PSO is as addicting as a drug, as fun as programming, and feels as good as sex!

Oh man, we got tanked last night.
Yikarso got on PSO yesterday afternoon and managed to get to level 16 and Dark Falz on Hard Mode. Skywalker541 also popped in for awhile here and there. Arce was there when his crap computer didn't die (of course nobody cares).
Then MarauderIIC came and our group powerleveled him about 15 levels last night. Marauder and I didn't get off until about 5:00 AM. Oh, and I also hit level 50.
Man that was fun...
