My dad fought and if he says the war is bullshit (which he does) he's damn well correct--he's been there and he knows.

If you'd read what a conservative means, (3 a : tending or disposed to maintain existing views, conditions, or institutions : TRADITIONAL b : marked by moderation or caution <a conservative estimate> c : marked by or relating to traditional norms of taste, elegance, style, or manners)

I think you'll see I'm hardly conservative. It really looks to me that you all are quite conservative, wanting all your previous luxuries when a new threat forms. I'm advocating the future survival of our country with a futurtistic way of fighting the wars brought to the US by radical groups of religious zealots and other possible threats, not just terrorism. North Korea, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, and other countries are possible threats.

Also, Xylene, why is that propaganda? Okay, I'll admit that 3% was a bit much. As stated by Muhammad Habash in the Daily Star, there is probably more around 1%. That's still 13,000,000 possible fanatics. Now, this is purely statistical but I think the numbers back me up.

I don't doubt your father and I support our troops. But, what don't you buy? I don't understand why you all find it necessary to start a flame war. I'm just stating my opinion, that US citizens need to put aside our political ideological differences for a while (all the while keeping an eye on the government of course) until we can get the rest of the world settled down and not ready to blow the US off the map.

What percentage do you realistically think there are of muslims that are radicals/fanatics/fundamentalists?

Really, 1% is a conservative estimate...

Give or take about 100k and I bet thats pretty accurate.

I dont care what anyone says. It shows mankinds true colors. Just because a your dad fought in a war and said it was bull dosnt make it true. I think war is the most splendiferous thing ever! Its like animal rights asses saying that you cant strangle a deer to death because it will "hurt" the animal. Its going to die anyways what difference does it make? This is war! Use the big guns! Not nukes though to big, I mean like bio weapons and terrorism. It is an effective way of demoralising the enemy. Bio weapons are just fun. Ther is no place on the battle feild for political hoo ha and humanitarian bull pooky. FIGHT! KILL! DESTROY! You dont love your enemy you squash them between you toes!
