Ok I'll admit it, the Cell processor is outright amazing. It's just a shame no one without an IQ of a Decillion will be able to program it. According to the article found at http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20060225-6265.html to get all you can out of the chip realistically requires the help of a built in "octopiler" (the super awesome 1337 version of a compiler), unfortunately the technology for that octopiler is still a long ways away. However Sony will undoubtably have some kind of substitute for this if it takes to long to develop, they just won't be able to use most of the cell's potential. It will also most likely cause a whole new version of hell to be created just for the game developers of this console.
Ask a developer which next-gen console they'd rather develop for 4 out of 5 times I bet they'd say the 360.(I'm leaving out the revolution because I haven't heard much development wise from them, Damn Nintendo and their tight lips, lol that sounds wrong.) Well it's getting late I'll end this here. Goodnight.
