Extending the road wtf?

Random irrelevance that just didn't fit into other forums. Talk about anything.

Update on the road: they just decided to nuke the woods to save them the trouble of logging.
This is a joke about unfunny jokes. And bad use of irony.

I didn't get laid on my senior prom night. But I didn't go and come back a virgin so, I guess I'm not a total loser. ;)
Anyway, if you were with someone serious and you're not just going to get laid, then why the hell would you go at all?
Go with a group of friends, it's a paid-for way to hang out that has food. Although nor I nor my date cared for about half the music at our prom, we did have a few nice slow dances, though. We aren't good at that dirty dancing stuff, but we tried it and had a good laugh :) And when else are you going to get parents/your friends to pool for a limo?

Also some music that tells you the dance steps had "jump" in it and we were on the third floor of the Hyatt with like 150-200 people jumping. It was quite an interesting feeling when the building reacted each time. No permanent damage but definitely wasn't designed for that.
Again, prom is either for the dipshits who can't can't think for themselves ((omg pr0m!!!111oneone can't miss it! once in a lifetime chance!!!111one)), the people trying desperately one last time to get laid, or the losers who couldn't think of a better way to impress their girl. Unless your girl wants you to take her, there is no logical reason to go.
My group of friends & I decided to go because it was a few new experiences that wouldn't come around again. I looked sharp in a red & black tux. My girlfriend looked cool in her '50's-inspired dress & hat (best looking person in any of the pictures we got, imo =) ). We got to ride in a limo which was kinda neat. We didn't even lean out the windows and yell at people. Last chance to see a few high school acquiantences. A few guys who went stag had interesting outfits, like the guy who came dressed in a complete Willy Wonka getup.

My girlfriend and I had fun. We've had more fun since, but it was an interesting experience, and all in all, I'm glad I went. Why miss out on new things?

Oh, and we had our own after-prom watching bad movies with our dates. Didn't go to the druggie one, the beer-party one, or the school-sponsored one. :)
I realized the moment I fell into the fissure that the book would not be destroyed as I had planned.
