Xbox Must Have List:

Post by Arce »

So uh...Tell me which Xbox games are worth 'getting'? I already have a decent collection that I acqired mostly from video stores going out of business and selling shit for 1/10th the original price (no, not kidding).

No, I'm not talking about 360, though I wouldn't mind hearing a 360 list as well.

Thanks.

The sad thing is that all of these are on other platforms or are just remakes. Also, I'd say no to Halo. Honestly, Xbox is really not worth it. I regret buying it.

(Xbox)
Jet Set Radio Future (Dreamcast remake)
The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay (also on PC)
Mercenaries (also on PS2)
Fable (also on PC)
Morrowind (also on PC)
Psychonauts (OMG YES, but also on PS2 and PC)
Jade Empire (also on PC)
Conker: Live and Reloaded (N64 remake)
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (also on PC)

(360)
Dead Rising
Assassin's Creed (but is also on PS3 and is coming out for PC and DS, don't ask me how)
Mass Effect
Kameo: Elements of Power
Eternal Sonata (will eventually be on PS3)
Bioshock (but I'd rather have it on PC)
Viva Pinata (is actually better on 360 than on PC)
Beautiful Katamari (if you like the series, but otherwise I wouldn't recommend it, but it's only $20)
Halo 3 (I guess if you like the series)

I could see why you'd say that, honestly. However, if you have an older Xbox, I'd have to say that it's worth it because of the SoftModding that you can do, which is easy, takes no time, and allows you to burn games. Then, being able to burned games, I'd say Xbox is probably one of the easiest and best consoles to play emulators on. I have EVERY English edition SNES, NES, Genesis, and N64 game on ONE disk.

Fortunately for me, some dumbass at my school is selling his for only 20$ (I could trade it in at a video game store for double, at least) and I know he's reliable because I bought 2 other consoles for 30$ just recently. xD

Oh, yeah, and thanks guys for the lists. Thankfully, I don't have most of those (it's good to know there's more to my Xbox than I've seen, lol)
