School ranking? o.o;;;;

Uhh...Anyone know how your school determines your 'rank'?

I got a thing in homeroom that's showed every class I've taken since I got in highschool, as well as my final grades in those classes and my gpa for those classes.

I've seen people with 4.7 and 5.0 weighted GPA's who were rank 30ish. I've got a 4.1 with 13 credits, and I'm rank SEVEN. Right now I've got straight F's in all my classes (due to being suspended during major tests in every class) yet it tells me I've rank 7. Is this a glitch, or does it takes other things into account than your GPA? Mostly curious...o.o;;;;

But I'm not complaining.

It's either a glitch or the kids are getting dumber. I had a 3.8 and I was nearly in triple digits at one point.
