Ah, that's pretty cool. I bet we'll get some even more realistic looking video games in the near future.

Somehow I missed this thread. Damn that's amazing.

It makes you wonder...can this be applied to movies as well?

It'll happen, they're bound to release a movie where the main character is an actor that has been dead for years.

I found myself wondering at applications if you already had the actor! But that's an excellent one.
I realized the moment I fell into the fissure that the book would not be destroyed as I had planned.

see that sort of makes you think about the dillema the makers of "the crow" had, from what I've read, brandon lee had almost finished his scenes, all except the ones where he didn't wear the infamous makeup/costume, which left the producers with a problem, so what they did was rewrite the script slightly, and use point of view shots instead, so that he didn't have to be in all of the missing scenes...

now if you imagine if they had this metric technology available at the time, would they use it?, and would the film have been affected by it?

It just makes you think about the moral implications of using this technology...

it's rather interesting!

I think I can program pretty well, it's my compiler that needs convincing!

And now a joke to lighten to mood :D

I wander what programming language anakin skywalker used to program C3-PO's AI back on tatooine? my guess is Jawa :P

Good point, now I will have to suffer from bad actors for the rest of my life. On the other hand, I will get to see the hot ones too...
