Digimon (Getting Back Into It)

Post by Marx Chaotix »

A while ago my DS Firecard get effed up so I had to get help to fix it. Afterwords, a few games were added onto it. Among them was a game I got freakin addicted to "Digimon World DS". This game is literally everything I WISH Poke'mon had. Ever since I got hooked onto it I find myself busting out all the 1st season episodes that my brothers and I got a few Christmases back. Jesus Christ I'm hooked onto it.

Right now in my party I've got

Garurumon
lvl. 26 Evolves into Weregarurumon at lvl. 28
MagnaAngamon lvl. 31 evolves into Selphimon at lvl. 42
Kyukimon lvl. 29 evolves into GaurdiAngemon at lvl. thirty something.

If anyone has this game I'd like to trade with you on Wifi.

So far I'd give this game 5 stars all the way.

Seriously everything Poke'mon doesn't have.
If you are a Digimon let alone Pokemon fan get it. Every penny is worth it.

I had it but I sold it back to a store after a while. It was addicting, but I got tired of the crappy maps. Every level is essentially navigate a labyrinth while encountering annoying random battles over and over and over...
Dawn and Dusk seem to be similar, except with more of a storyline, focusing on Digimon "trainers" who duel in arenas and stuff.

I do like Digimon World 1 and 3 for Playstation, but haven't gotten around to beating them. I own both, though 1 won't work on my ps2. I'd like to get them on my psp, but the disks are scratched and it's hard to find an image where people are actually seeding. :|

I remember getting so mad as a kid when people would say Digimon was a Pokemon rip off. The anime was so much better than Pokemon, which had a story that actually, you know, progressed.
I still think Monster Rancher > Digimon > Pokemon, though. People(monsters?) actually died in monster rancher, it was a serious kids show! :P

Yeah I agree and I also heard that Digimon actually came before Poke'mon. I am now a Gold Tamer and all my Digimon are now Ultimates. The one unique thing about this game that I like is the way you interact more with your Digimon on the farms.

Is not true. Pokemon February 27, 1996; Digimon June 26, 1997.

I loved the Digimon world game (the 1st one)

my friend had a US import version of it, I had to wait, I think I waited a year for the thing due to delays in the UK release.

I don't own it now, and I don't own a ps1 anymore, but I would love to play it again.

I thought it had a really good storyline, building up the city, and getting your digmon to digivolve.

I got a greymon once, I was so proud ;)

I owned some digimon cards aswell, but only 1 pack, hardcore?

And now a joke to lighten to mood :D

I wander what programming language anakin skywalker used to program C3-PO's AI back on tatooine? my guess is Jawa :P
