Seriously, the graphics were awesome. It was one of the best 2D platformers Genesis had. I would put it right below Sonic. And yeah, in a way it was sort of like Mario meets Rayman.

A 3D remake of Rocket Knight Adventures! I swear. If it was done right, it'd be awesome...
Re: Games you'd like to see remade (or demade?)
i remake of the original prince of persia. (but it should still be a platformer)

I'm not sure if it were XBLA, but I think so, I'm pretty sure PoP (maybe not THE original game, but in the original style) was remade.
Re: Games you'd like to see remade (or demade?)
The XBLA version is pretty damn close to the original! Just with updated graphics. You still have only an hour to save the Princess. Prince of Persia (the old stuff) was MIND BLOWING.LusikkaMage wrote:I'm not sure if it were XBLA, but I think so, I'm pretty sure PoP (maybe not THE original game, but in the original style) was remade.

with todays technology it would be a pretty badass game.

The animation in the original PoP was mindblowing at the time! My 8086 only had 4 colors, but it had some life-like animation thanks to Prince of Persia.avansc wrote:really? i loved that game. i think probably because i an only remember parts.LusikkaMage wrote:I'm not sure if it were XBLA, but I think so, I'm pretty sure PoP (maybe not THE original game, but in the original style) was remade.

All the animations from the original Prince of Persia was transcribed from the developer's brother. He recorded his brother doing the movements and then did it frame by frame. The first time I played PoP I was like HOLY CRAPtrufun202 wrote:The animation in the original PoP was mindblowing at the time! Another game I just thought of is... SIM ANT! FUCK YES! o.o
I have the original game IN A BOX right now, because my lame ass friend was going to SELL IT, but I stole it (read: asked for it) instead. Had it as a kid, but stepdad had horrible habit of selling our old games. D:

i wouldn't mind seeing Final Fantasy 6 remade into something 3dish.
Re: Games you'd like to see remade (or demade?)
Two games I'd like to see remade (keep in mind, although I'm American, I'm on the verge of becoming a weabo ): Tench 1 and Tench 2.
The rest of the sequels suck because of the different developers.

I would have liked to see a remake of doom 2 hell on earth, Master of Orion, and the platformer Secret Agent and don't forget Secret of Mana

Ducktales. One of my favorite NES games, I would love to see Scrooge in HD.
Re: Games you'd like to see remade (or demade?)
It was technically made 3D with an N64 workstation. That's how Square prepared itself to render it's sprites in 3D for Final Fantasy 7. Although, it was just a battle system with FF6 characters, and commands were carried out with a mouse XDultimatedragoon69 wrote:i wouldn't mind seeing Final Fantasy 6 remade into something 3dish.
As for me, something I'D LOVE to see remade is a new Final Fight, or Streets of Rage. Pick your poison!
Re: Games you'd like to see remade (or demade?)
so i had a killer child hood. my dad was the first big computer company in south africa when i was growing up.
and it was just wen pc games were comming out on CD. he bought like $200000 worth of merchandise. and every friday i would get
to go to work with him, and get to pick out one game.. aahh.. good old days.
anyways, one of the games was this side scroller, and you were this guy, and i think you had a panther or leopard with you. can anyone remember a game like that
i think you always moved to the right of the screen. it was just like a fighter kinda game.
hoping somenoe can remember.
