At work, we don't have a Christmas Party, its an "End of the Year Celebration" /sigh We'd hate to offend anyone...
The other day I was at Wal-Mart and after checking out, the lady said, "Thanks, have a Merry Christmas!" In this watered-down, PC world we live in, I was surprised that they could actually say that.

Re: Merry Christmas, my Democrat friends.
I wish that liberals and the Democratic party weren't like that. Respecting the rights of poeple to hold certain beliefs does not encompass society as a whole taking it in the ass from their beliefs.
I think that some people have this screwed up mentality of "if it offends your religion, it is violating your liberties." That's bullshit. The first amendment does not guarantee that your religion or custom is immune from criticism or anything that it deems offensive. As a matter of fact, I personally believe that not allowing us to express opinions that are offensive to particular groups, religions, sects, etc is an infringement upon our rights.

Isn\'t it illegal for Santa Claus to say \"Ho, Ho, Ho\" anymore because some store Santa said that and some passerby bitch got offended?

Re: Merry Christmas, my Democrat friends.
I haven't really experienced any of this personally myself. What religion/group of people tend to complain? Every Atheist I know celebrates Christmas. ;P
Re: Merry Christmas, my Democrat friends.
yeah the average atheist couldn't give 2 shits if there were Christmas trees(which really comes from pagans) and nativity scenes. but there are people that make a scene of it. and people who let people make them take down Christmas decorations because it offended them. are weak.LusikkaMage wrote:I haven't really experienced any of this personally myself. Re: Merry Christmas, my Democrat friends.
Lol just the other day I was talking with a kid in the caf who was all mad about some dude's biography being put in the fiction section of our library, because apparently half the stuff in the book was illegal so the author had to claim it as fiction to not get arrested o.O
