Are there any books about SDL?

Post by liveordie2112 »

If there are books about SDL, what are their titles?
I also have a question for Gyrovorbis or Marcel.
What books did you guys use when you were learning SDL?

It If there are any semi-useful books about SDL out there if someone could tell me the title I would appreciate it. :)

Thanks in Advance

EDIT: Thanks everyone for telling me about the SDL Doc Wiki :) That and Lazyfoo's tutorials have been helping a lot!

not trying to be a wet blanket, but maurauder tends to discourage these types of links due to their use of copyright material...

As for SDL texts, all I can say is what I normally say, the SDL Docwiki is an invaluable tool
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I think I can program pretty well, it's my compiler that needs convincing!

And now a joke to lighten to mood :D

I wander what programming language anakin skywalker used to program C3-PO's AI back on tatooine? my guess is Jawa :P

Yer. I don't really like Focus on SDL, it doesn't go into as much detail as it should so I tend to read through the documentations and, in some cases, Lazyfoo's site whenever I need to.
I'll make your software hardware.

Liveordie- i love that picture with Bush that you got there. If we can't be thankful for his good politics we can at least appreciate all his good antics! Not to stray off topic, the three resources pointed out here (one book and two online) seem like a powerful arsenal all combined. Can't see how anyone can go wrong with that.
