Re: Pirate Game
Wow, that's really cool! The movement does take a minute to get used to, but after that it's fine. The roofs are annoying when there's no path, because you can't tell where the door is! :P The scrolling is also a little laggy, but nothing big.
Overall it's looking great, and I can't wait to see some more updates!

Re: Pirate Game
Can you support arrow keys for movement? I'm left handed.
I realized the moment I fell into the fissure that the book would not be destroyed as I had planned.

Re: Pirate Game
Hi, Christer. That game is pretty cool! You should think about purchasing a license to the Torque Game Builder. It is a very high end 2D game engine! Regardless, your game has a lot of potential. You should check out the forums at http://www.garagegames.com, you could probably find an artist willing to help out.
If you haven't already played it, there is a game called Larva Mortus that your game kind of reminds me of. However, yours has more of an rpg/adventure feel which makes it very appealing. Larva Mortus is more of a survival game like PrototypeB.

Re: Pirate Game
Sup, I like your game; you've created a awsome rpg style. Hope you continue increasing your game options because I like how a person could do anything if they want to. Great Indie - game
Re: Pirate Game
Torque Game Builder is more about make it more simple and less coding right? If thats the case then I dont really want it. I like to do everything my self. I did a huge misstake making the game in Blitz3D and not BlitzMax. If I would do it in BlitzMax the game would be playable at Windows, Mac and Linux.fireVein wrote:Hi, Christer. Water and grass is too repetitive, go look at the pixelart tutorials in the game design forum
