Thanks. I wasn't sure anyone would like the credits, they are a little slow.bulls.bears2011 wrote:That was awesome dude. I especially loved the Super Mario Bros 2 ending, nice.

That was really interesting to watch, very nice attention to detail, I especially liked the underwater part.

Thanks much everyone. Glad you all like it so far. Makes it worth all the time I put into it.
The underwater scene was tricky. It was one of the easiest to animate, but making all the subtle details like the air bubbles and the nanny blooper assets was a pain.Lucas wrote:That was really interesting to watch, very nice attention to detail, I especially liked the underwater part.

Me too. I'd love to see how people would react to playing a game like this. How they would handle each power up and situation.Innerscope wrote:I second that. Especially the take on bomber-pacman...awesome.I want to play it.

Re: I dream in retro. FINISHED
I'd like to say yes, unfortuneately I don't see that happening any time soon. I just don't have the coding or action scripting skills that would be needed to make this into a game. I'm just an art monkey who had a little time on his hands. If enough people like it and I have more free time I might make another animation though.dandymcgee wrote:Great, so development is underway?OrinCreed wrote:Me too. I do have some coder friends but we have recently decided to put our efforts towards a simple beat em up similar to double dragon or battle toads.....or battle toads and double dragon . So deviating to this isn't really an option at the moment.

If you send me the sprites, I'll make it (the pac-man one that is...)

Exceeded expectations. Fantastic job.

Re: I dream in retro. FINISHED
If I were to do that it would that would take some time. Because the assets were made for animation purposes (and didn't have restrictions on sprite size) they are not in any kind of sprite sheet. Imagine just having a bunch of cut out drawings sprawled out on a table in front of you lol.Innerscope wrote:If you send me the sprites, I'll make it (the pac-man one that is...)

Re: I dream in retro. FINISHED
Thanks Glad to hear it. I was seriously worried that it wouldn't be well received because it's not like the endless pile of Dragonball Z like sprite animations out there.Kros wrote:Exceeded expectations. Fantastic job.

I can't really promise that I would actually finish the game though...
