This post definately needs to be merged this this one: http://elysianshadows.com/phpBB3/viewto ... art=999999
Am I right in thinking the poster intended it to be here?
If not, then I would consider looking at the posts of the last week at least before posting anything...

Thanks Brett, for that meaningful and insightful first post. Excellent first impression.

Re: How to make money
Well, since no one else is going to do it, I'll offer my constructive criticism:
-The face for "lemonade" looks like the mouth extends up into its eye. I'm not sure what's supposed to be going on there, but I'm pretty sure it's not that.
-You should really hyphenate words when splitting them into multiple lines.
-"Really" has an a in it. It does, check it out.
-Profits do not always equal money.
-A happy face with dollar signs around it is not a way to make money.
-Nor is giving away (or receiving) free cookies. Unless you sell them later.
-WTF is going on in the bottom right? The top almost looks like a face, and the others look like falling (semi-)right triangles.
-Regardless of what it is, it is once again not a way to make money.
-While selling is, in fact, a way to make money, you may want to be a bit more specific in your advice.
Now that that's done...
Was that over the line? Probably, but I just had to. The point is (and what I think Marauder was getting at) that "General/Off-Topic" is one thing.. this post was quite another.
Try posting in the "Hello World" thread. Say something of substance, about yourself, why you're here. You're far more likely to get positive feedback.

And you can only do that on a syllable break, so it should beaamesxdavid wrote:-You should really hyphenate words when splitting them into multiple lines.
"lemon-
ade"
or
"lem-
onade"
not
"lemo
nade"

Re: How to make money
In that case you're probably better of posting something similar to:Brett wrote:Maybe I enjoy getting flamed.
1) "Dreamcast suxxxxx"
2) "i iz teh gr8ist haxxor!!!1 ..oh, and what's SDL?"
3) "you guys will never compare to jforce!"
If you really want to be flamed, don't just say something retarded, say something arrogant.
