Egh, right now I guess my focus is getting this one tutorial done, and recoding Lenxion.
Ijusthavetogetsingletonstoworkrightfirst.
I need to start working with Java so I can update my map editor, but it's hard to learn new things with no internet access at my place.

Good luck with that, i'm kinda frustrated since I saw a really good java book for half the price you usually get it at a small computer fair, but I decided against it *kicks self*
I desperately need to get around to learning java, I just wish C++ wasn't so nice to use

Re: What projects are you currently working on?
I need to make a map editor soon and I can't decide betwen Java's swing library or learning wxWidgets for C++.
I find Java easier than C++. Don't have to worry about pointers and memory clean up. I also use Eclipse for Java, so you'll enjoy that.programmerinprogress wrote:I desperately need to get around to learning java, I just wish C++ wasn't so nice to use

fij engine
I'm recoding my game engine, going for version 4. New for this version is network support, gui support, physics, lua support and some random fixes.
work name: left 2 die
I'm also working on my school project, which is supposed to be finished next spring. It's a top down shooter, I'm the lead programmer and project leader in a team of four students. Were currently at alpha stage, with one game mode almost finished. Things I'll have to do there is a campaign mode/story mode and improvements in the enemies ai. Possibly I'll add multi player support as well.

I realized the moment I fell into the fissure that the book would not be destroyed as I had planned.
