Programming wise, I usually work with VB6 for random office applications, for example a chat program, but I'm making the switch to C++ because my classes are for that language and C++ is just sexier anyway lol. Delaware is far from the most boring state in the U.S. though, to be fair. I mean, you have a place called "Slaughter Beach", and it's easily one of the creepiest places I've ever been to. Far from boring.

Also, the switch to C++ is definitely a good one to make.
