Happy Birthdays ;)

Wish you won't fail the finals

P.S.
I was actually going to start the same topic.

...goddamn, I feel sooooo old.

Happy birthday, programmerinprogress!

and I have my final in circuits today. I have been freaked out over it all week. After this, it's pretty much all over. I will still be working until August 14th, but without class, it's no big deal.

That's funny, because I never do. Then it makes me wonder if I should when someone five years younger than me says they do...

I didn't start feeling old until 26 or 27. In fact, I've just recently made peace with the fact that I'm an adult. (having a wife that's pregnant will do that to you!)

But, in 2 years I'll be 30 - holy shit, now that is old.

I always make fun of Kendall for being 21.

I don't know, the difference between 19 and 20 for me seems huge. It seems like going from a teenager (where I have an excuse to be reckless, immature, and irresponsible--and when I DO wind up doing something good, it's all the more impressive) to a young adult (who should be respectful, responsible, blah blah).

20 is like all of the obligations of somebody in their 20s minus the drinking. I will stop aging at 21.

yeah the only birthdays that meant anything were 18 cause I could get my own place and when I turned 21 cause now I don't have to get people to buy my beer. but now I could care less about any birthdays.

This is funny because I am so immature for a 22-year-old.
I realized the moment I fell into the fissure that the book would not be destroyed as I had planned.

I SURVIVED MY FUCKING CIRCUITS EXAM!!!!

And I think that I did fairly well. I made the densest, most absolutely ridiculous cheat sheet ever. I will be scanning it in for your personal enjoyment. I also bought a can of Rip-It, so when my adrenaline wore off (2 hour test), I could get the high back in caffeine.

I felt really energized and was able to pull lots of differential equations/calculus out of my ass that I hadn't been able to before.

The ONLY good thing about the instructor is gracious partial credit. If I couldn't get a resistor/current/voltage level correct, I made up some semi/quasi-correct differential, did some separating/integrating magic, then pulled a number out of my ass (usually 1Amp or 1Volt to further simplify my later calculations).

I think that I earned my B in that class. I would have had an A, if I had known that he was so easy on partial credit and made more up on the initial test. =/
