So, I saw this commercial last night. And I was like "hey, the words 'open development'! On TV!"
Any of you guys heard of this phone? If so, what have you heard?

Droid phone
I realized the moment I fell into the fissure that the book would not be destroyed as I had planned.

Re: Droid phone
I've actually used it. Both of my parents have worked for Verizon for just over 5 years now soo... yea. It's a WAY nice phone. I never got to use any of the open source features with it because I only had it for about 20 minutes before my mother had to take it back to work. What I've heard about it, is that you get to do plenty of open source type things with it, but with a lot of limitations. I'm not really sure what those are, I'll ask my parents tomorrow for you guys.
EDIT: Open development would be a better suited term for it. Because you can't really look at the phones code. But feel free to create apps for it.
THE PRECEDING STATEMENT COULD BE FALSE. I WAS SIMPLY STATING THAT TO MY KNOWLEDGE IT'S NOT OPEN SOURCE.

Re: Droid phone
Heres an in-depth review of the Droid.
My friends dad has the phone and he says it's really nice.
