Borderlands
Has anyone picked up this game? So far I'm hearing some pretty good things about the co-op mode. Sort of like a cel-shaded Fallout 3 with more emphasis on the FPS side and less on the RPG elements. I'd like a few more opinions before I break down and pick it up.

Re: Borderlands
I was about to ask what people's opinions were too, actually... heh.
I realized the moment I fell into the fissure that the book would not be destroyed as I had planned.
Re: Borderlands

My friend nathan has it, he loves it!... I'm going to get it when I get the dinero...
Apparently it's like fallout... but as for better/worse I don't know... Nathan likes it though, I'll do a review if I get it in a couple weeks

Re: Borderlands
I know but he has a SH*T LOAD of play throughs. He just gives me something to watch while I'm waiting on ES updates. But your right he is annoying, he told off one of my friends in a message just for trying to ask him his Gamer Score and PSN Trophies.avansc wrote:that dude is annoying, and apparently cant read a map for shit.animangaman690 wrote:If you want a play through of it with commentary the whole way darksydephil of youtube has an ongoing play through of it.

Re: Borderlands
I know your were joking on the last post, but he explained it in the video "The King of HD Revealed" he hurt his back on the job, so his doctor makes him work no more that a 10 hr work day. He needed a hobby so he started uploading videos. He also went on to explain that half the time what he says on the videos is just for the subscribers( most people like his crude comments), and he didn't target my friend Logan as a person; he just said, " I'm tired of all these people asking me about my f*cking gamer score. I hate gamer score. I play for fun and to make videos not to ruin my life trying to get some points." but I feel bad for the guy. I've seen the way my dad is when he hurt his back.
Back on to Borderlands::
It had a good concept for the game.
It mixed two great genres into one game( RPG & FPS ).
But it was too repetitive.
And it tried to make itself a bit like Fallout( I noticed this a lot).
I give it 7 / 10

It'd be a lot cooler-looking in third-person, I think. Ah, well...avansc wrote:id much rather play mirrors edge. and thats a game i thought i would hate..

Re: Borderlands
My friends keep pestering me to get this game. They are pretty picky bastards so it must be damn good. Maybe once I've finished some of the games I've picked up recently I will grab this too.
Re: Borderlands
yeah it looks good but I have so many games I have not played yet that are sitting around ill just wait till I can pick it up for like $20.
