Re: SSD powah
I think 6TB of space is just a tad overkill.

I want one. Not for the storage, but for the power.

Re: SSD powah
6TB / 24 drives = 256GB
256GB SSD = $699
$699 * 24 drives = $16,776
ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuck

Re: SSD powah
If I havn't run out of 120GB after using it for 3 years, I think 6TB is a little too much.eatcomics wrote:Nonsense... In fact I now know what I want for christmas xD... Everyone runs out of HD space eventually.... But this guy may not....

Re: SSD powah
thats awesome next computer I build gonna do a ssd drive as the main drive hopefully they drop in price by then.
Re: SSD powah
If not for the 6TB of space... Do it for the 2gb/sec write speeds xD But yeah that is expensive, not to mention that they probable spent a lot on that PC that they put the drives in...

Re: SSD powah
SDDs are awsome, I just wish they werent so expensive. I always thought of just setting up a RAID 0 with three 1TB HDDs.
2:50, I thought you werent supposed to defrag SDDs. And wouldn't the increase in storage interfere with read/write speeds?
