I have been hearing a lot lately as I'm very well sure many of you have heard Obama's speech of putting more than 30,000+ soldiers into Afghanistan. (Dunno why when we've heard that the leaders of Al Quada moved into Northern Pakistan) But, anyways I have become a bit curious and wanted to take a deeper look into the history of this war that's been raging for nearly TEN years. Upon this I have made a startling discovery that really got me thinking....could we really possibly convict George W. Bush of war crimes? I have below a link to a video of a man who actually tells startling facts over the war and some evidence that really had me thinking. But, of course this video has a lot of little anti-war propaganda and whatnot but, if you examine the core of this video and just focus on the facts and what he says and is trying to communicate across to everyone then, you will understand his points or at least come into taking this idea into consideration. So, what are your thoughts and what are your views on this?

Blasphemy, our government has nothing but good intentions... You should thank them!
/joking
It is terrible about the war... but I'm pretty sure if anything went down it's not wholely Bush's fault.
I'm not gonna bother watching the video, that would just make the people who participated in the film feel like they were doing a favor to this world...

first of all take a philosophy class. this guys arguments are so fallacious its surprising he is a lawyer, which segways me into my second point, he is a LAWYER.
this is a self promotion documentary. anything documentary that has lowshots, zoom ins, powerful music, and shock effect based on ONE man and not the issue at hand is is using the issue as a medium
to self promote.
also, if you are going to put GW Bush on trail you will have to do so to everyone that agreed to going to war.. thats the entire senate at that time.
the US is a democracy, not a dictatorship. Bush did not suddenly just say. hey lets go to war and everyone was like no. but he still went. he cant do that. and they supported the war.
also then obama should surly be put on trail. and perhaps nixon, perhaps most war time presidents.
its war. there is no universal right or wrong. its all subjective. i dont like the war or war in general, but i like living in fear less.

Pretty much what I came in here to say. You can't pin the war on just one person. It's ridiculous how many people (Americans even) think the president has absolute control over the US.avansc wrote:the US is a democracy, not a dictatorship.

Again, I said that this video is filled with anti-war propaganda so it would of course be expected for all the little special affects. And I was paying attention to the "core" of what the video was talking about. And what he was talking about was the fact that he feels that Bush is the primary reason for us going into Afghanistan. (I again don't see why why the people behind the 911 attacks were primarily from "Saudi Arabia"). And I know that he doesn't simply command people to war we need to take votes and get majorities of the government into an agreement. But, was I was implementing is I found behind all of the movie's BS was "some" truths that were spoken. And I do feel that Bush was "not" the sole reason for us going to the war but he definitely had great motivations behind it. And I feel that we definitely (referring to the United States in general) didn't handle this "War on Terror" so well at ALL. Thank you for your thoughts avansc.avansc wrote:first of all take a philosophy class. this guys arguments are so fallacious its surprising he is a lawyer, which segways me into my second point, he is a LAWYER.

The only reason we went to war is because we were provoked, we were attacked. and responsibility was taken but the talifags and bin laden. we get 0 oil from these countries we invaded, they are no benefit to us financially, only for our safety.
now i get you dont like war, no one does, and i get you dont like bush, many people dont. but if you wanna moan about the war against terror. please just shut the fuck up and enjoy the liberty you gain from it.

Lol avansc. I like how you seem quick to point out a "single" little flaw in my typing yet over half of your posts are grammatically flawed. Also, you seem very quick and blunt to post about how I'm "moaning" about this war effort. I was merely bringing this to the majority of the people's attention on this forums community. I see no reason whatsoever for you to make the post that you have just made above. You also tell me to "shut the fuck up". I in no way, shape, or form made any rude posts towards you whatsoever. Look man, I don't know what your problem is but, I see nothing wrong with posting or stating your own views. You talk about liberties yet, you grant nobody it seems on here the liberty to speak their own thoughts or minds.
And, if you actually cared to pick up a newspaper, read an article, or look at the media you'd be educated enough to know that Bin Laden was not behind the 9/11 attacks nor had anything to do with it whatsoever. We have captured the mastermind and he is being brought to justice as we speak. So please get your facts straight before you go on another hateful rampage trying to silence people for simply wanting idle conversation. And attempt to make your posts more cohesive before you point out another's small grammatical typo of a flaw.
