Uses netbeans IDE for their C++ development? If not why... and if so why?
* I'm simply curious as to why netbeans really hasn't taken a firm hold in the Cpp community

Re: Who here, if anyone..
Whenever I hear (read) netbeans, I automatically think Java. Honestly, I forgot it does c++.
I'll write a signature once I get some creativity and inspiration...

I think that is a common mis-conception all around. It has a plugin for nearly every language out there xD I use it for PHP more than Java

The only thing i ever use it for is java, but i don't really like java and netbeans reminds me of it so i take my c++ coding elsewhere

I really just started working with C++ in netbeans a few weeks ago and frankly I am loving it. It has built in live performance tools that help you benchmark your applications as well as amazing refactoring that makes life easy.

Simply because I love Visual Studio 2008 c++ to much.
My github repository contains the project I am currently working on,

Netbeans is not a bad IDE, its a bit of a hog, id preobably not use anything else for java. if i was on linux i would use it. but osx you just stick with xcode, and windows VS.
