I would like to thank someone
Hello everyone,
I want to thank Rachel J. Morris for her wonderful tutorial series. I have watched it nearly five times through and through and I believe you have gotten me to the point in SDL where I feel comfortable making my own games without a tutorials guidance. I look forward to episode two on the SHMUP!
And for those of you in the dark...

Oy @.@
Thanks so much! lol
The SHMUP tutorial is currently getting done, bit by bit, but the written version is already up, if you need. And make sure to check out the LazyFoo tutorials as well, since there's a ton of stuff there as well.

Moosader, you're a FAR better programmer than LazyFoo in my eyes, and I much prefer your tutorials over his anyday. I'd rather wait for the next one to come out. :]

LazyFoo has a lot more tutorials on various things, I don't think I'm better than he is. :P

Oh don't be ridiculous, he may have more VARIETY but he doesn't explain things half as well, and your code looks a lot cleaner in my eyes... In the eyes of people who OWN a pair for that matter.Moosader wrote:Lies!MadPumpkin wrote:Moosader, you're a FAR better programmer than LazyFoo in my eyes, and I much prefer your tutorials over his anyday. Yeah I have to agree, your code style is much better than LazyFoo's imo.
