Well in this day and age, and particularly in a field like "programming" that is very "internet" centric, it is very easy to get in contact with people who are very good at any given sub field. This leads you to be exposed perhaps to things that are a little out of your grasp.

Now you can approach this one of two ways. One, and i think this is the default route people take (I know that I have done this many times before), is to assume they are entitled to know or be able to do something or comprehend a piece of information. This will lead to annoyances and stress and so on (btw, I'm not trying to imply thats why its stressful for you). Or two, you can use this great asset of having practically 24/7 access to people with knowledge of that what you would expect to find only in university or expensive textbooks for FREE. Just be humble and ready to learn. You would be surprised at how willing people are to sacrifice their free time to help someone interested in a common field of study.
