Is absolutely fucking awful. Not only can I not find ANYTHING, but they did away with the 1-5 star rating system. Now it's just thumbs up or thumbs down. A SIMPLE BOOLEAN? Videos aren't just good or bad. There's a gradient, and this is just stupid.
Now the description of a video isn't even fully visible until you click the mini description and have it expanded.
I feel like this entire thing is in response to Facebook getting more views than Google search. Google is trying to make Youtube more "social networking" oriented, and in the process they're fucking everything up.
I saw this last night, it's confusing as hell. Also, if you watch a video, it no longer tries to find similar videos to your topic, but rather videos with the similar names in the title. For instance, I was watching a live Korn video and usually I can find others from the same concert on the sidebar, now it just shows 20 other videos of the same song. That's dumb.

I use a greasemonkey script, "Youtube HD Ultimate". Basically, it makes the video stretch to the size of the browsers window AND plays the highest-quality version (Though you can select which one to play).
Naturally, it's gone completely foobar now =[ I miss that script.

Yeppedy yep yep, I complain in every comment I post, I've actually sent several complaints on how awful I think it is.

I was really hoping this was some awful April Fool's Day shit - which would have been a horrible joke to begin with - but nope, it's real.
The admin section still shows the 5 star rating system. Are they just going to discard all of that data? Or does it somehow translate to their new like/dislike rating?
Bullshit. Absolutely no functionality gained whatsoever, as a matter of fact one could argue it hurts functionality. Change for the sake of change is the ultimate idiocy.

I looks ugly, it feels clumsy and I cant even look at the video description without shifting all the comments out of sight.
And every time, the video description is a little bit longer than usual ( like the one from the Elysian Shadows Revolution: Episode 2 ) it just shifts everything far away and out of sight =/
The only real cool thing is the new viewer stats, so you can see from where the viewers came and so on.
