Super Mario Bros: Crossover
Hell. Yes. This was brilliantly done! Play the original SMB using various NES characters. Makes me wish I would have thought of this first!

Dude, seriously, like 10 minutes before you posted this topic, one of the guys at work came over and showed this to Falco and I, and we sat there playing for a half hour.
Great game. Haven't tried all characters yet..But got a real goddamn kick outta how megaman can get a fireflower, and how it takes multiple hits to destroy the goomba.
This game is epic win!

Re: Super Mario Bros: Crossover
I only tried out Link and Megaman so far, with Megaman being my favorite. This is complete badassery, though I wish I could use a controller on this, I suck at mario with a keyboard x.x
Dear god, they actually ported ES to a piece of celery!MarauderIIC wrote:You know those people that are like "CHECK IT OUT I just made Linux run on this piece of celery [or other random object]!!"? Yeah, that's Falco, but with ES.

You could use a key -> controller mapping program like Key Joy I think it's called.Trask wrote:I only tried out Link and Megaman so far, with Megaman being my favorite. This is complete badassery, though I wish I could use a controller on this, I suck at mario with a keyboard x.x

Re: Super Mario Bros: Crossover
Out of all of 'em I felt that MegaMan adapted the best. He was really easy to use and lets face it lol. His buster kicked ASS! This is one of the best Mario adaptations I've ever played.
