I have the 1GB model in my system right now, its not loud.

Someone irl complained it has a noisy fan. I guess its a rare occurance, and you should be fine with it.

The parts came in. I assembled it in dim light. I have already stumped my toe on it. It works but the screen hasn't arrived yet!

EDIT: I keep reading everywhere that in order for dual channel ram to work it has to be inserted into the blue slots. But my mother board manual made it seem like the white slots where the correct ones. Now I'm paranoid I'm not using my ram to it's full potential.
